- Indirect combat: Force = AP (Armor Penetration)
- 4. Cast Spell

- Reckless: Simple instead of Complex Action, +3 Drain Value.
- 5. Determine Effect
- Normally based on Hits
- Spell Defense: (SR5,p.294).
- 6. Resist Drain
- Physical if total (after Limit) Hits > Magic, Minimum 2
- Tradition Attribute + Willpower
- 7. Determine Ongoing
- −2 Sustaining Modifier
