America’s television screens will soon be displaying the talents of a colleen out of Pawnee City, Nebraska. the aforementioned talents will be surrounded by a jungle-type bikini fashioned out of a leopard’s pride and joy. The leopard never did for his skin what Irish McCalla does, however. As “Sheena, Queen of the Jungle,” Irish gets her first big break toward a movie career. Until now, her face and figure have adored most of the country’s magazines. One of eight children, Irish left Nebraska to find her fortune in California, and she may have struck gold at last. Which will be all right with the girl who once worked as a waitress and a trouble-shooter in an aircraft factory before going into modelling. Meanwhile, Irish is happy to swing her five-foot-eight-inch frame from tree to tree à la Johnny Weissmuller if it means a chance to make good in Hollywood.

Irish McCalla
A fair Nebraska colleen came to California to seek her fortune, wound up as an African jungle queen

The McCalla measurements are fabulous—39-inch bust, 25-inch waist, 36-inch hips. Irish keeps in trim by swimming, surfboard riding and generally acting athletic.

Soft lighting can’t hide the form that made Irish one of the most popular models in California.
